Age 8

Kiaijah

Also known as Kiki

Her dance story

Kiaijah has been dancing since she was 18 months old. Her favorite styles are hip-hop and tap, and one of the things she loves most about dance is spending time with her friends. One of her favorite dance memories is performing her solo. She is also a member of the elite dance competition team and the cheer competition team. From ages 1 through 4, Kiaijah participated in international pageants in Addison, Texas, for four consecutive years. She travels often and loves what she does.

What she is working toward

Dance has taught Kiaijah to never give up and to always try her best. She is working on improving her turns and aerials. When she is not dancing, she enjoys tumbling. Her favorite school subject is science, and she hopes to become a pediatric surgeon when she grows up.

Inspiration & fun fact

Kiaijah is inspired by Ta’Janay—and one fun fact about her is that she has freckles!

Dre’Yonna

Her dance story

Dre’Yonna started dancing when she was 4 years old. She loves dance, especially hip-hop, and enjoys meeting new people through it. One of her favorite dance memories is performing a duet. She is also a member of the elite dance competition team and the cheer competition team.

What she is working toward

Dance has taught Dre’Yonna to be her best. She is working on improving her turns, and when she is not dancing, she enjoys cheer. Her favorite school subject is math, and she hopes to become a doctor when she grows up.

Inspiration & fun fact

Dre’Yonna is inspired by Leah from dance—and one fun fact about her is that she has 14 siblings!
